Films in the Attic
Films in the Attic is an exciting new project that will breathe new life into old home movies and archive footage. We are looking for home movie footage showing life in the borough of Greenwich for a new film project commissioned as part of the Greenwich Film Festival. So, dust off those old VHS tapes and you could be a star of the silver screen!
We are looking for footage that shows the borough and its people over the years. Perhaps you caught the opening of the Thames Barrier or the Millennium Celebrations on film, or maybe you have film of yourself on the Woolwich Ferry or visiting Greenwich Park. We would love to see your films and possibly include clips in the new film commission. Footage collected will be remixed, re-edited and reshaped into a new artwork that celebrates the people and places of the borough through their own archive footage and home movies. If we use your footage you and a guest will be invited to a special, invite only, première screening.
If you would like to submit your footage, please post it to us at the address below. Please make sure you download and complete a registration form and send it with your application, by 31st May to
