POP UP ART GALLERY AND ART MARKET

Thank you for your interest in the Pop Up Art Gallery at the EGCF 1948 Fete. EGCF welcomes applications from galleries and creatives selling quality works of art including prints, photographs, drawings and paintings etc. Craft makers may wish to consider a table with-in the Pop Up Art Gallery space or if you require a larger stall/space please go back to the Market Place section of this form.

The event takes place throughout East Greenwich Pleasaunce. The Pop Up Art Gallery will be located with-in a marquee on the grass in the Pleasaunce.

You have several option to display your work;

1) Pop Up Art Gallery display bay £80 for the weekend.
2) Railings space with-in the Pleasaunce. £10 a day. No protection from the weather is provided!
3) Table space with-in the Pop Up Art Gallery (not suitable for hanging work) £50 for the weekend.

The Pop Up Gallery is constructed from plywood, it is a temporary structure and not a permanent gallery space. You will need to provide your own hangings for your work. A drill and screw driver will be available on the day. Each bay measures approximately 1.2 meters across and 2.4 meters tall. Therefore you have three 1.2 m X 2.4 m panels you can hang work from. Please note the width is approximately 1.2 meters or 120 cm so you can not display work larger than this. You are also able to place a small table across the back of your bay should you desire.

Tables with-in the Pop Up Art Gallery are standard size trestle tables measuring approximately 180cm x 100cm. You will need to supply a cover for the table.

Railing space is just that, space on the railings around the Pleasaunce. Work can be hung on the railings, you will need to bring wire or string to do this. Please note that there is no protection from the elements so be prepared to cover your work up quickly if it rains!

You are encouraged to embrace the 1948 theme of the Fete and dress your gallery space accordingly. Anything you use to dress the gallery space must fit completely inside the booked area, and cause no obstruction to the surrounding area.

There is no vehicle access to the Pleasaunce so you will need to carry your own goods to the Pop Up Gallery.

If any staff or volunteers on a gallery space are classed as a vulnerable person, e.g. under 18, disabled, pregnant, etc, the exhibitor is responsible for appropriate Health & Safety provision.
If anything you exhibit may potentially cause harm (for example electrical equipment, sharp and heavy objects etc) individual exhibitors must take appropriate precautions. Please list any potential hazards that your exhibit may present.

If you have any further questions please email [email protected]

Please state which area of the Pop Up Art Gallery you wish to exhibit/sell in.
